Abstract

Many cultural factors contributed to the formulation of social history in the three cities of Iraq (Basra, Kufa, and Wasit) in the first century AH. Among the most important of them: the housing factor, as the Arabs mixed with each other on the one hand, and mixed with other people of other religions and cultures; It has prevailed among them (acceptance of the other) in order to achieve common societal coexistence. The factor of marriage and intermarriage had an impact on shaping the new society, as men were marrying non-tribes, as well as marrying women from the local population, which produced close social relations. The work in its various commercial, industrial and agricultural forms - which was characterized by freedom and the appropriate income for its owners - had a great impact on shaping the social and civilized history.
