Abstract

The current research aims to identify bullying and its relationship to domestic violence among middle school students, and the research sample consisted of (200) students chosen by random stratification method. To identify bullying, the researcher adopted a scale (Al-Sahi 2013) to measure bullying, and to prepare a measure of domestic violence. Psychometric properties of the two tools through apparent validity by presenting it to experts and validation by means of re-testing and half-segmentation. The data were statistically treated using the Pearson correlation coefficient and the T-test for one sample and two independent samples. The results showed that the students do not suffer from bullying, have a good level of social awareness, and feel family violence, as well as there is an inverse relationship between bullying and domestic violence, and in light of these results the researcher came out with a set of recommendations and suggestions.
