Cultural invasion – Muslim women – Identity – Media – Islamic educationAbstract
This study examines cultural invasion and its impact on Muslim women, focusing on the intellectual, social, and media dimensions of this phenomenon. The research adopts a descriptive-analytical approach to identify manifestations of cultural invasion in media, educational curricula, and imported cultural patterns, and their effects on identity, values, and behaviors. The findings indicate that cultural invasion seeks to obscure Islamic female models and promote the Western woman as a universal ideal, leading to changes in societal perceptions and practices. Furthermore, educational and religious interventions based on the Qur’an and the Sunnah, along with strengthening Islamic cultural identity, are effective tools to counter these influences. The study concludes that integrating educational, social, and advocacy efforts is essential to preserve the uniqueness and cultural identity of Muslim women and to raise awareness of external cultural pressures.
