Abstract

The research dealt with the issues related to the Qur’anic challenge by presenting the verses of challenge in the Qur’an and explaining the opinions of scholars in the stages of the challenge. The challenge is by the type of the Qur’an, not by its quantity, and also the scholars differed on the issue of who is addressed with the challenge. Some of them believe that the challenge was directed to the polytheistic Arabs, some of them said that the challenge is for the general public, and some of them said that the challenge is for all mankind and jinn, and also this research included the issue of the face of the miracle that occurred In it the challenge and the statement of the differing opinions of scholars on this issue. Each group saw the challenge from a certain aspect of the aspects that distinguished the Qur’an. Some of them believed that the miracle occurred in its systems, and some of them added other faces to the miracle.
