Historian Al-Hasani excelled in recording important events in the modern history of Iraq, especially the era of the royal era. His numerous books demonstrated his scientific encyclopedism, which included various diverse topics. They demonstrated his ability to move from one science to another, relying on documents and oral recording, and distinguished himself by honesty, accuracy, realism, and unparalleled professionalism. Of difficulties and partial failures, despite his desire to clarify some of the hidden aspects of Iraqi components that practice their rituals in secrecy and mystery, this is why the historian Al-Hasani was able to fill a void and fill a deficiency in the Iraqi and Arab library.
Historian Al-Hasani published books on the ancient Iraqi religions (Yazidi, Sabian, Baha’i), researching the history of beliefs, worship, origin and naming, social and religious classes, scholars and media, holy books, their political positions on the ruling authorities, and some military campaigns against the followers of these religions.
Historian Al-Hasani researched multiple topics and was a pioneer in many political and ideological fields, especially in studying a pivotal era in the history of the founding of the modern Iraqi state 1921-1958 AD. He issued a specialized encyclopedia on the history of Iraqi ministries and political parties, and was subjected to a lot of criticism when he wrote about religious minorities. Iraq, so it was an unsuccessful stop for the historian Al-Hasani, although it was distinguished by the fact that it opened the door for a large number of researchers to start studying religions, trying to uncover their secrets, visit their temples, and their religious and worldly personalities.
