Abstract

This research includes one of the social phenomenon which sets its scene in Andalusia due to the outcome of the political situation in the region after the Cordovan sedition which caused serious breaks in the internal situation. Thus, this situation allowed the spread of a lot of social ills which affected the public life both during the Communities and the Marabous era. The most important of these phenomenon are theft and banditry which varied form hidden theft to cutting the ways by means like sword and spear. These phenomenon did not specify a certain class in society. However, it existed between Muslims and Christians and even among the ignorant people and intellectuals, too. It has a significant impact on both economic and social fields.
