Abstract

Kuwait has witnessed increasing growth in the educational sector for decades, as Kuwait relied on a simple and traditional educational system before it was transformed into an advanced and modern educational system. This research aims to study the emergence and development of higher education in Kuwait during the sixties and beyond. It includes the main reasons for the changes in the educational system in Kuwait and its development and the need to provide educational opportunities for Kuwaiti youth and meet the needs of society in general and then launch many educational institutions during this period, as well as Developing study plans and programs to suit the needs of the job market. We relied on various primary and secondary sources to collect the necessary information and data to prepare the research from Arab and foreign books, magazines, courses, and online websites.
