The impact of modern technologies on aspects of child development from the mothers' point of view

Abstract

The current research came to identify the impact of modern technologies on aspects of child development from the point of view of their mothers. The researcher developed questionnaire Based on theoretical literature and previous studies a  and the descriptive analytical approach was used. The sample consisted of (82) mothers in the city of Homs.The research reached several results as follows: that the most affected aspect of child development is the social aspect He ranked first with a arithmetical average with an average of (3.67), followed by health.  With an average of (3.53), followed by emotional with an arithmetic average of (3.48).

It was found that there were differences between the average answers of mothers regarding the impact of technology on their children according to the age variable, in favor of the age of (5-6) years

It was found that there were differences between the average answers of mothers regarding the impact of technology on their children according to the variable number of hours of use in favor of (more than 3) hours

-It was found that there were differences between the average answers of mothers regarding the impact of technologies on their children according to the variable of the lowest educational level  For mothers, the research came up with several suggestions
