Semiotics theory and application

Abstract

Semiotics is considered a comprehensive critical approach. If linguistics is concerned with studying language in text، then semiotics goes beyond that to expand its analytical extensions of texts to everything linguistic and non-linguistic. It studies language، sign، and everything related to sign، from the philosophy of symbols، and the science of signs and shapes in their general pictorial form.

The research deals with the semiotic approach in terms of theory and application، as a prominent landmark of critical renewal in the analysis of literary text، with the symbols it contains that provoke the reader’s taste and cognitive passion in order to try to understand the dialectical relationship between the signifier and the signified.
