Abstract

This research attempts to shed light on the cultural and social content in Najah Al-Arsan's poetry. It aimed to explore the text through a study of cultural and social themes.

The research began with an introduction and the research problem, and was divided into three sections: the first deals with cultural influences on Iraqi poetry – the poet Najah Al-Arsan as a model. The second addresses modern and Western social influences on Iraqi poetry – Najah Al-Arsan as a model. The third examines the social and political influences on Najah Al-Arsan's poetry, through an examination of the social and cultural content of his poetry. The research concludes with a conclusion that includes the most important findings and recommendations reached by the researcher, as well as a list of the sources and references he consulted.

The study also relied on the descriptive and analytical approach.
