Abstract

Andalusia witnessed the migrations of Arab tribes who came to Andalusia as part of the Islamic conquest operations and then settled in those areas liberated by the Arab Muslims. Among these tribes that contributed to the intellectual life in Andalusia throughout its ages and history were The Banu Makhzum Arab tribe that entered Andalusia and contributed to the intellectual movement witnessed by Andalusia through its settlement and presence in Andalusian cities. This matter made us shed light in this research on the study of the intellectual impact of the tribes that came to Andalusia. The choice was for Banu Makhzum, the Arab tribe that entered Andalusia and participated in the operations of the Islamic conquest in the year 92 AH and settled in the cities of Morocco and Andalusia. Then it contributed to the intellectual movement in its various fields for many centuries and in different Andalusian cities. The most prominent figures of this tribe in various sciences were the Arabic sciences, and the Arabic sciences had the greatest share of study and immersion in Arabic and its literature compared to other sciences, which contributed to the prosperity of sciences and knowledge in Andalusia
