Abstract

This research aims to shed light on the methodology of the British orientalist Bodli to study the prophetic biography in his book, the Messenger of Muhammad, and we will give here a typical general glimpse of the Bodli methodology, where he followed a special approach represented in adopting a prior idea, then it is based on the facts of events that support this idea, while excluding what is not in line with it, and therefore; He adheres to the news that enhances his opinion or that he can interpret according to his goals, regardless of his weakness, and trying to track and research the position of the orientalist Bodli on the era of the message, which formed the focus of the study. In his book, he raised a set of suspicions and strived to prove the validity of what has arisen according to what he saw
