Abstract

The era of prophethood and the Rashidah Caliphate is an important foundational stage in Islamic history, in which a number of issues were determined, whether it is the arbitration of religion and politics in the management of the affairs of the Islamic state, the mechanism of spreading Islam, or the regulation of relations with non-Muslims, etc.

The importance of the research lies in analysing and discussing the issues and questions mentioned and others that have attracted and continue to attract the attention of researchers and students from different disciplines and scientific backgrounds (Islamic history, political jurisprudence, sharia sciences...)

The most important objectives of the research are to provide a balanced analytical reading of the subject of the study while not drifting behind a single perception or approach, so we recalled the religious and faith factors and did not neglect the material, social and political factors... In order to address the research issue, we adopted the analytical method as well as the historical method, and we did not neglect the political jurisprudence approach to this subject.
