Religious Guidance and Its Role in Shaping Women’s Personality in Islam: A Study of the Guidance of Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him)

Abstract

This study aims to explore the shaping of women’s personality through the integration of doctrinal foundations and the guidance of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). It examines how Islamic creed forms the basis for moral, spiritual, and social development, and how the Imam’s instructions provide practical applications of these principles in daily life. The research analyzes key doctrinal elements such as monotheism, faith in the unseen, human dignity, and accountability, alongside the Imam’s teachings regarding women’s roles in the family, society, and moral upbringing. By combining theoretical and practical perspectives, the study demonstrates that a balanced, aware, and responsible personality can emerge, capable of contributing positively to family and society while maintaining ethical and spiritual stability. The research draws upon classical sources, including the Quran, Nahj al-Balagha, Bihar al-Anwar, and other authoritative works, to illustrate the integration of doctrine and practice in forming the Muslim woman’s personality.
