Abstract

 This study deals with a vital topic that preoccupies the minds of those interested in the educational process in childhood، which is represented by childrens songs، which constitute an artistic means of raising a child، which is the window of society to the future. because it contributes to the formation of the childlike personality on which the personality of this society is built. to achieve the aim of the study، the researcher prepared a questionnaire containing (20) standards prepared by the researcher and distributed it to a randomly selected sample consisting of (30) teachers of the Arabic language in their various linguistic and literary disciplines and the methods of teaching the Arabic language in the college of education and arts at al-mustansiriya university. after statistical treatments، the study reached a set of results according to the objective. in the light of the study، the researcher developed a set of recommendations and proposals
