The current research aimed to identify the awareness of Electronic Blackmail among middle school female students and to examine the impact of a preventive counseling program (Stress Inoculation) on developing this awareness. To achieve this, the researcher developed both the Electronic Blackmail Awareness Scale and the preventive counseling program, verifying their psychometric properties. Utilizing an experimental methodology with a pretest-posttest control group design, the study was conducted on a sample of (20) female students. The findings revealed statistically significant differences at the (0.05) level between the pretest and posttest scores of the experimental group in favor of the posttest. Furthermore, statistically significant differences were found in the posttest between the experimental and control groups, favoring the experimental group. These results demonstrate the substantial effectiveness of the program in enhancing awareness. The research concluded with a set of relevant recommendations and suggestions for future research.
