Abstract

The aim of the research was to identify 1- Self-fragmentation among university students. 2- The significance of statistical differences in self-fragmentation according to the variable (gender, specialization). 3- Life pressures among university students. 4- Significance of statistical differences in life stress according to the variable (gender, specialization) 5- The statistically significant relationship between self-fragmentation and life stress among university students. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher relied on the following: The researcher adopted the (zero, 2014) scale, as the scale consisted of 25 paragraphs. A stress scale was also adopted. Life prepared by (Carver & Scheier, 1989), as the scale consisted of 25 items, the researcher applied The scale was applied to a sample of 400 university students, 240 female students and 160 male students, for the academic year.(2024-2025) and the results were as follows: 1- University students suffer from self-fragmentation. 2- There are no differences in self-fragmentation attributed to gender and specialization. 3- It is evident that university students suffer from life stress. 4- There were no differences in life stress attributed to gender and specialization. 5- There is a statistically significant positive relationship between the two research variables. The research concluded with a discussion of the results and the presentation of some recommendations and suggestions.
