The city of Baghdad has grown for a long time at a rapid rate that is not compatible with the growth of its functions and services, which reflected negatively on its residents, as political and economic factors played an important role in creating the motives for its growth in an unplanned and chaotic manner, so the natural functions of the city were disrupted and life in it turned into a bundle of crises and bottlenecks in It has become commonplace to live with crises of lack of drinking water, lack of services and utilities, suffocation of transportation, proliferation of shantytowns, rising housing costs, increasing unemployment, exacerbation of urban poverty, and the constant search of most of the population for the minimum level of decent life in a frantic atmosphere. Achieving this aspiration depends on the good management of the urban environment and the effectiveness of urban policies in facilitating access to adequate shelter, work and basic services, and in securing a safe and clean environment. , and civil society - in the process of urban development.

And because these problems burdened the city and changed the compass of its progress in the wrong direction, and this is what we wanted to reveal here in an attempt to analyze the problems of the city of Baghdad and the possibility of fixing what can be fixed. Diagnosing the defect for us certainly plays a major role in reform because we always do not admit the error, which we establish from where we do not We know and then the solutions are lost, we ask God for help and success, and from Him is payment.
