Abstract

The research aims to identify:

1- The extent to which knowledge economy requirements are available in the teaching practices of history and Arabic language teachers from the point of view of school administrations.

2- Knowing the significance of the differences in the availability of knowledge economy requirements in the teaching practices of teachers of history and Arabic language according to gender (male, female).

3- Knowing the significance of the differences in the availability of knowledge economy requirements in the teaching practices of teachers of history and the Arabic language according to the scientific specialization (history, Arabic language).

The researchers followed the descriptive approach based on the social survey, and the research community consisted of all middle and preparatory school male and female school manager in the Essaouira district center (morning study), while the research sample consisted of (60) male and female managers. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researchers prepared a questionnaire for that consisting of (24) items that was applied in its final form after verifying its psychometric properties to collect information and data. The researchers processed the data statistically with many statistical methods, so the results of the research were as follows:

1- The teachers of history and the Arabic language meet in their teaching practices the requirements of the knowledge economy, in a moderate degree, from the point of view of school administrations.

2- There are no statistically significant differences from the point of view of school administrations due to the gender variable (male, female).

3- There are no statistically significant differences from the point of view of school administrations due to the variable of scientific specialization (history, Arabic language).

Based on the research results, the researchers concluded the research by presenting a number of recommendations and proposals.
