The research aims to know the impact of teaching in the Kagan strategy in developing sports thinking skills for fifth -grade students in physics and to achieve the research goal. The researcher built a sports thinking test tool consisting of (42) objective objectives of the type, the current research community represented the students of the Fifth Scientific in the Okaz preparatory for boys, who numbered (174) students, which is one of the preparatory schools of the Directorate for Rusafa, the first /north of Baghdad for the academic year (2024-2023). Teaching the tool was applied and the data was statistically treated using the SPSS program. The results appeared that students who studied the Kagan strategy were better than students who studied in the usual way in testing sports thinking skills, and in light of these results the researcher presented a number of recommendations, including the benefit of teachers and teachers of physics from study plans The stomach according to the Kagan strategy for its impact on students learning the skills of sports thinking, and a number of proposals, including studies to identify the effectiveness of using (Kagan Strategy) in other variables such as (trends - tendencies - creative thinking - logical thinking - contemplative thinking - learning concepts).
