Abstract

The study aims to clarify the role of the threshold of the textual Fatiha, and its importance in suggesting signs and symbols that would guide the reader and enter him into its narrative world, and to take him in to the textual body in multiple and varied ways in the novels of the writer (Yassin Shamil), whether the general framework is an initial opening chapter, where it is preceded by quarterly titles, or a textual initial opening,  headings starting directly from the text without introductions or forewords, with each branching off to other beginnings, including ordinary and exciting, including questioning, monologue, and spatial- temporal; we notice that the writer has strived to introduce the recipient in his narrative world through a remarkable variety between one opening and another, depending on the theme and narrative work adopted in each novel. Based on a semiotic approach.
