Linguistic reading of some grammatical terms

Abstract

There are many trends in the linguistic study in approaching the linguistic system, which is manifested in a linguistic institution of multiple stripes and trends, including a formal trend concerned with linguistic structure, represented by Saussure and those who followed his approach, and the last functional trend that studies language in terms of communication and the external data contained in it that affects it, represented by functionalism. And pragmatics, and due to the clarity of the first trend in the Arabic linguistic heritage, I decided here to research the functional feature of the language and its impact on the linguistic heritage, especially what is circulated in linguistic sources in the consensus that the Arab heritage has neglected this aspect, and among the results of the research is the realization by Arabic scholars that the frequent use of the phrase makes it known and understood ; Therefore, he intends to delete it, and this is considered a way out of the problem of frequent usage by way of deletion, which the ancients were not unaware of. This is what justifies placing deletion and implication on the intention of frequent use as a matter of mental commitment between the speaker and the hearer.
