Christianity and its impact on political life in Al-Hirah under the Sasanian influence

Abstract

Christianity is one of the few religions that has the ability to contribute to shaping the lives of its adherents by penetrating its joints, moving it according to its vision and controlling it, and making its beliefs an activity for it at all levels, including the political, whose image appeared clear in confusion. Therefore, this study was conducted that followed the method of presenting information and then analyzing it in order to identify the repercussions that this religion had on the political reality of this country, which took a large part of its ideological spectrum It has controlled negatively and positively its ways of political communication with states and entities existing inside and outside the Arabian Peninsula, and the matter became more strict in this part when it followed the Nestorian doctrine, which was a criterion for it in documenting and reversing its relations, so this ideological pattern returned to it in managing those relations with wars And disputes in many cases with the Persians, Romans, Kindians, Ghassanids, and some Arab tribes  and  this tendency remained ruling in the conduct of its political affairs until its end was a result of it in the seventh century AD.
