Abstract

The imperative and prohibitive styles in the Quran represent two effective educational tools, transcending mere linguistic forms to constitute a comprehensive methodology for human development. They embody profound educational objectives: purifying the soul, refining behavior, regulating relationships, and achieving psychological and social balance. The rhetorical diversity in their styles is a unique model for considering the circumstances of the audience, making Quranic education relevant for all times and places. The imperative and prohibitive styles found in some verses of Surah Al-Hajj embody a complete educational system based on refinement, discipline, sincerity, and cooperation, transforming the Hajj pilgrimage into a school for building the individual and society. The Quranic guidance regarding the performance of Hajj is not merely a formal act of obedience, but rather a comprehensive spiritual, intellectual, and behavioral education that extends from intention to return. This research aims to highlight the educational and pedagogical values inherent in the imperative and prohibitive styles found in some verses of Surah Al-Hajj, and to analyze their rhetorical and educational implications in light of the objectives of the Quran.
