Abstract

As the Iraqi nation has endured numerous wars throughout its modern history, leaving behind thousands of individuals in need of support and care, this study seeks to introduce psychological support as a form of psychosocial care. Ours is a nation burdened by successive crises resulting from wars, disasters, economic sanctions, sectarian conflict, and the widespread experiences of fear, helplessness, despair, nihilism, and alienation. Consequently, the need for psychological support has become an essential component of promoting mental well-being, strengthening resilience, and enabling individuals and communities to cope with the profound psychological and social The research includes an introduction to the concept of psychological support, its idea and definition, and how it has been addressed legally, philosophically, through scriptures, socially, and psychologically.
