Dalal Al-Maghribi (1959-1978) Historical Study

Abstract

The reader is well aware of the rich record of Palestinians who have recorded the honor of resistance to the Israeli occupation, and it is engraved in the bright memory of many female human heroisms that history has immortalized. The Palestinian woman fighter has a heroic role in various fields and at all levels that is equal to or almost superior to the role of men in the resistance against the cowardly occupier. The honorable history of the Palestinian woman that highlights an important example of defense and loyalty to the homeland and sacrifice of the precious and dear, namely the fighter Dalal Mughrabi who paid with her life as a price for the sake of protecting children and preserving their identity and history. She was truly the first Palestinian female fighter to be assigned to a military operation inside Israel. In fact, she was a role model for her generation with her morals, her work, and the will she left behind. She gave her life in defense of the homeland.
