Mastery Behavior of Students in the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance

The current research aims to identify mastery behavior among students of the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, and to identify statistically significant differences in mastery behavior among students of the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance according to the gender variable (males - females) after completing the requirements of the measurement tool and following a scientific research approach based on adopting a theoretical framework that resulted in a measure of mastery behavior that has psychometric properties To measure mastery behavior, the results appeared to show that the students of the Guidance Department showed mastery behavior at a higher rate than the hypothesized average, as well as the presence of a statistically significant difference in the variable under study, in favor of males. The results were interpreted according to the adopted theory, and based on those results, a number of recommendations and proposals were developed.
