Abstract

The subject of earning science is one of the important topics that topped the theory of knowledge in Islamic thought because it depends on gaining it on sensory perception and senses, the research is an attempt to shed light on that sensory and mental knowledge and how to obtain it and the occurrence of science in the sane and how this science was used among philosophers and thinkers in philosophical schools, It touched in the first section, which included the significance of earning science through the clarification linguistically and idiomatically when philosophers and deliberately clarified the pillars of earning science and divided to perception and ratification and showed its concept then touched in the second section to the most important opinions addressed by philosophers who clarified the earning science and divided on the directions, including following the Peripatetic school, including Al-Kindi, Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina and Ibn Rushd, where I showed the opinion of each of them, Alkindi was seeing earning sciences causal based on the cause and the cause and the section of ills on which the basis of science was arranged either for Al-Farabi was a different opinion to him where the knowledge has based on the science of logic and studied in a comprehensive spiritual research and divided into sensory and mental and intellectual
