This led to the emergence of the elegiac poem in this era, and by reading the Umayyad elegiac poetic texts it was clear that they contained dualities between them. Antithesis. Among these dualities is the duality (patience and alarm), and in this research the researcher tried to examine them and analyze the appropriate poetic texts.
At the conclusion of the research, the researcher concluded that the stimuli for this duality ranged between social values and the Islamic spirit.
