Abstract

Effat Anan is considered one of the most prominent female figures in Turkey since the beginning of the Republic and the beginning of the founding of the modern state of Turkey by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk in 1923 AD. Effat Anan took it upon herself to advance the status of Turkish women by highlighting their role in the Turkish War of Independence as well as the role of women in establishing the Republic.  And supporting the army in all its forms. Effat Anan became a pioneer for women living in Turkey. She also worked to help Turkish women practice their normal lives, whether social or cultural. Effat Anan was not the only one who adopted the idea of ​​defending the rights of Turkish women and their social, political and cultural status, but rather  Female figures emerged who had a great impact in Turkey, including Naziha Mohieddin and other women.
