The current research aimed to identify the level of ambition among university students. The research sample consisted of 120 randomly selected male and female students from the original research community, using stratified random sampling method, with equal representation from the humanities departments at the College of Education in Al-Mustansiriya University. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher developed a tool to measure the level of ambition, comprising a final set of 20 items. The ambition measurement scale created by the researcher underwent psychometric testing for validity and reliability.
After applying the research tool to the students and statistically analyzing the data, the results indicated that university students exhibit a high level of ambition despite challenging circumstances. Based on these results, the researcher drew several recommendations and suggestions .
