The effect of self-talk in reducing cognitive failure among intermediate school female students

The current research aimed to identify the impact of a counseling program in the manner of conscious understanding in reducing cognitive failure among middle school students, and to achieve the goal of the research through the three null hypotheses of the experimental group and the control group in the pre- and post-choices and to achieve this, the researcher built a counseling program according to the method of conscious understanding based on the theory of cognitive therapy (Aaron Beck) and adopted the cognitive failure scale (Al-Rabie 2015) based on the theory (Broad Bennett 1982), as the program consisted of (10 sessions) and applied to the group Experimental as the experimental research sample consisted (10 students) and the control group (10 students) randomly selected from the students who got the highest scores, the yard used the appropriate statistical means, including the test (Wilcosen) and the test (Maltney) and it was found through the results that there are statistically significant differences for the experimental group in the post-test and has reached a number of recommendations and proposals.
