Surrealism - Abdul Hussein – FlashAbstract
The emergence of surrealism represented a crossroads in the path of international art and literature. This movement worked with all its might to demolish all ready-made traditional templates and call for new, strange, unrealistic, and unfamiliar forms. Its primary concern was revolution and rebellion against everything. Art, literature, poetry, religion, society and its traditions, and above all, they stood against war and its absurdity.
Many writers have been influenced by it since its inception until this moment, one of whom was the poet Abdel Hussein Faraj. In this research, I worked to clarify the spirit of surrealism and its representations in his flash poem, and how much this movement influenced him and the extent to which its ideas penetrated his poetic forms, and explained how he used its concepts. In his texts.
This research came in two parts, the first was a theoretical framework in which I presented the beginning of the emergence of the secret movement and its most prominent features, with a brief presentation of the most prominent figures of this school and its founders, Then, I explored the concept of "flash poetry" in language and terminology, highlighting its most prominent features. In the second section, I examined the manifestations of surrealism in Abdul Hussein Faraj's flash poetry, discussing its key characteristics and ideas in his poetic works.
