Abstract

Sabri Faleh Al-Hamdi was from an ancient family with tribal lineage, which   lived in the Al-Amarah district until it moved to the Baghdad district. It was one of the well-off families. He spent his childhood and youth in a Baghdad atmosphere that deepened in him the spirit of belonging to the city and the acquisition of general knowledge and culture. He had an upbringing based on commitment to traditions and customs.  Tribalism and Islamic teachings made him a serious and diligent person who sought to preserve the family’s status. His father had a great influence in supporting him and assisting him in rising to the highest levels of education. He chose the literary branch so that his scientific genius began to crystallize through his love for history. Then he began seeking to build himself on his own by expanding self- and intellectual construction.  And cultural since his early youth, by spending his free time reading all the historical books and Arab and international novels he could find, then Sabri Faleh Al-Hamdi married Mrs. Thuraya Muhammad from a Najafi scholarly family known for its origin and lineage from the house of Al-Balaghi, and despite his preoccupation with research and teaching, this  There was no obstacle to him devoting sufficient time to his family members in terms of caring for them and following up on their daily affairs.
