The research aimed to use the one-parameter Rasch model in constructing a chemistry test for first-year intermediate students. To achieve this goal, the researcher followed the steps represented by identifying the topics included in the test. After that, (50) behavioral goals were formulated, and then one paragraph was formulated for each type of goal. Multiple choice. To verify the logical validity of the paragraphs, they were presented to a group of arbitrators. The test was applied to (400) students in the first intermediate grade in schools affiliated with the Second Rusafa Education Directorate. The researcher used the Biology program and the SPSS 25 program and relied on the Rasch model in analyzing the test items, and the model’s assumptions were verified. The test was verified. Both individuals and items matched the model, and the results did not indicate non-matching for any of the individuals, except that two items were deleted from the test. The test’s validity and reliability were verified; the results indicated that the test’s reliability reached (0.820) and the researcher reached a set of conclusions, recommendations and proposals.
