Job burnout and its impact on employee performance

Abstract

     Job burnout is a phenomenon prevalent in our societies, and it is a feature of the current era and part of the reality of life that may lead to a decrease in the performance level of workers and then the performance of the organization. Also, many workers at various administrative levels suffer from a set of pressures that cannot be avoided as they affect in all members of the organization, whether they are administrative leaders, subordinates or employees, as they are to varying degrees, and each person differs from the other.

As for the role conflict, it had a positive moral effect on both the emotional exhaustion dimension, the feeling of low achievement, and it was not proven that there was a moral effect on the dimension of bad dealing with others. The results of data analysis also proved that there are no statistically significant differences between the opinions of the research sample about job burnout among workers in the Emirate of Asir region due to personal and occupational variables (age, gender, educational level, experience). In the emirate, taking into account the accuracy in job descriptions for employees in the emirate with a clear definition of authority, responsibility, duties and unity of command to reduce the ambiguity of their role because of its impact on the feeling of job burnout.
